The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.) 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
