The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.) 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
