The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
