The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

The (Day) of Noise and Clamour: 1 What is the Clatterer. 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 [It will occur] on the Day when men will be like moths swarming in confusion, 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 Then as for him whose balances are heavy, 6 shall inherit a pleasing life, 7 And as for him whose balances are light, 8 He is in the lap of one that abases. 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 A Fire vehemently hot! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
