The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the crash? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 The day that men shall be like scattered moths, 4 And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up. 5 Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works), 6 He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). 7 And for one whose scales prove light, 8 his shall be the deep pit for a dwelling. 9 What will convey to you what this is like? 10 It is a Fire, intensely hot. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
