The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the Striking Calamity? 2 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Calamity is! 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then, the one whose good deeds weigh heavy on the scales, 6 shall inherit a pleasing life, 7 But he whose deeds are lighter in the balance 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 And what can make you know what that is? 10 A Blazing Fire! 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
