The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 Would that you knew what the crash is! 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 and mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 but he whose weight is light in the Scale, 8 Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 Raging Fire. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
