The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
The Clatterer! 1 What is the striking (Hour)? 2 And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is? 3 The day when men will be like scattered moths. 4 and the mountains shall be like plucked wool-tufts. 5 Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, 6 shall have a blissful life; 7 but he whose scales weigh lighter, 8 shall plunge in the womb of the Pit. 9 And what have you understood, what the one that abases is! 10 It is a Fire, intensely hot. 11
