The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the striking (Hour)? 2 Would that you knew what the crash is! 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 and the mountains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 shall have a blissful life; 7 And for one whose scales prove light, 8 shall plunge in the womb of the Pit. 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 A burning fire. 11
