The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The terrible calamity! 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 What shall Make thee know that which the Striking is? 3 The day on which men shall be as scattered moths, 4 and the mountains will be like fluffy tufts of wool.... 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 shall find himself in a happy state of life; 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 His abode shall be the abyss. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 A flaming fire! 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
