Al-Qaare'ah

The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

OH, the sudden calamity! 1 What is the terrible calamity! 2 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Calamity is! 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up. 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Balance 6 Will have a tranquil life; 7 but those whose good deeds will be lighter (on the scale). 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 And what can make you know what that is? 10 It is a Fire, intensely hot. 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
