The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
The terrible calamity! 1 What is the Striking Calamity? 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 On that Day people shall become like scattered moths 4 and the mount-ains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 He will live a pleasant life. 7 But as for him whose deeds are light on the scales, 8 Will have the Abyss for abode. 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
