The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
The event that terrifies the hearts! 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 And what will make you know what the striking (Hour) is? 3 On that Day human beings shall be like scattered moths, 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy, 6 He will live a pleasant life. 7 But as for him whose scales are light, 8 He is in the lap of one that abases. 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 It is a Fire, intensely hot. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
