Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Abundance diverts you, 1 until you come to the graves. 2 Nay, in time you will come to understand! 3 Again, ye soon shall know! 4 Nay, were ye to know with certainty of mind, (ye would beware!) 5 you shall surely see Hell; 6 Then you shall most certainly see it with the eye of certainty; 7 Then, on that Day, ye shall surely be asked of the delights. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
