Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The emulous desire of abundance engrosseth you, 1 Until you visit the graveyards. 2 Lo! presently ye shall know. 3 Again, Nay! You shall come to know! 4 Lo! would that ye knew now with the surety of knowledge! 5 You have indeed to behold Hell; 6 And again, you shall see it with certainty of sight! 7 Then on that day you shall most certainly be questioned about the boons. 8
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
