Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Rivalry in worldly increase distracteth you 1 Until you confronted the graves. 2 Nay, you will soon come to know; 3 nay, again, you shall soon come to know. 4 Lo! would that ye knew now with the surety of knowledge! 5 Verily, You shall see the blazing Fire (Hell)! 6 Aye, ye will behold it with sure vision. 7 Then, on that day, ye will be asked concerning pleasure. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
