The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe to every fault-finding backbiter; 1 Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it. 2 thinking that his property will make him live forever. 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the Crushing Fire. 4 and what shall teach thee what is the Crusher; 5 It is the Fire kindled by Allah, 6 Which penetrates the hearts 7 Verily it shall close upon them, 8 in its long columns of flames. 9

God the Almighty always says the truth.
