The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 who amasses wealth, counting it over, 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. 3 No indeed; he shall be thrust into the Crusher; 4 and what shall teach thee what is the Crusher; 5 It is the fire of Allah, [eternally] fueled, 6 Which will climb on to the hearts. 7 Surely it shall be closed over upon them, 8 In extended columns. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
