Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense? 1 That is he who repelleth the orphan, 2 and never encourages the feeding of the destitute. 3 Woe, then, unto those praying ones 4 whose hearts from their prayer are remote 5 Those who do things only to be seen by others. 6 And withhold the necessaries of life. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
