Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Have you seen one who denies the Day of Judgement? 1 Such is the one who repulses the orphans away, 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the poor, 3 So woe to the worshippers 4 [But] who are heedless of their prayer - 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
