Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 It is he who turns down the orphans 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 So woe to the praying ones, 4 But who are oblivious of their moral duties, 5 Those who do things only to be seen by others. 6 And who withholds even common necessaries. 7

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
