Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 For that is the one who drives away the orphan 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the needy. 3 So woe to those that pray 4 Those who are neglectful of their prayer. 5 those who do good (in order) to be seen, 6 and refuse to help the needy. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
