Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Have you seen he who belied the Recompense? 1 Behold, it is this [kind of man] that thrusts the orphan away, 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 So woe unto those performers of Salat (prayers) (hypocrites), 4 who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), 5 They who would be seen, 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
