Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Hast thou observed him who belieth religion? 1 That is he who repelleth the orphan, 2 And does not urge to feed the needy. 3 So woe unto those performers of Salat (prayers) (hypocrites), 4 but whose hearts are not in their prayer. 5 who show off, 6 And withhold [simple] assistance. 7
True are the words of God the Almighty.
