Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Beholdest thou him who belieth the Requital? 1 That is he who repelleth the orphan, 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 Who delay their Salat (prayer) from their stated fixed times, 5 Who dissimulate 6 And refuse Al-Ma'un (small kindnesses e.g. salt, sugar, water, etc.). 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
