Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense? 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 And does not urge (others) to feed the poor. 3 So woe to the praying ones, 4 but whose hearts are not in their prayer. 5 to those who make display 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
