Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

DESTROYED WILL BE the hands of Abu Lahab, and he himself will perish. 1 Neither his wealth nor his gains will avail him. 2 Surely, he will be cast into a Flaming Fire 3 and so too will his wife who (threw thorns and firewood in the Prophet's way). 4 shall have a rope of palmfiber around her neck! 5

Almighty God's Truth.
