Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Perdition overtake both hands of Abu Lahab, and he will perish. 1 His wealth and gains will not exempt him. 2 He will be burnt in a Fire of blazing flames! 3 along with his wife, that carrier of slanderous tales; 4 Upon her neck a halter of strongly twisted rope. 5

Almighty Allah's Truth.
