God wishes to make it clear to you and guide you through the example of earlier people, and to forgive you, for God is all-knowing and all-wise. 26 And Allah wills to incline towards you with His mercy; and those who pursue their own pleasures wish that you be far separated from the Straight Path. 27 Allah intendeth that he shall lighten unto you, and man hath been created weak. 28 Believers! Do not devour one another's possessions wrongfully; rather than that, let there be trading by mutual consent. You shall not kill yourselves. Surely Allah is ever Compassionate to you. 29 If any do that in rancour and injustice,- soon shall We cast them into the Fire: And easy it is for Allah. 30 But if you avoid the major sins which you have been forbidden, We shall remit your (trivial) offences, and cause you to enter an honourable abode. 31 And do not wish for that by which Allah has made some of you exceed others. For men is a share of what they have earned, and for women is a share of what they have earned. And ask Allah of his bounty. Indeed Allah is ever, of all things, Knowing. 32 And to everyone We have appointed rightful heirs to what the parents and near of kin might leave behind. As to those with whom you have made a solemn covenant, give them their share. Allah watches over all things. 33
