۞ Hast thou not regarded those who have taken for friends a people against whom God is wrathful? They belong neither to you nor to them; and they swear upon falsehood, and that wittingly. 14 Allah has prepared for them a severe torment. Evil indeed is that which they used to do. 15 They have taken their oaths as a shield by means of which they hinder people from the Way of Allah. Theirs shall be a humiliating chastisement. 16 Their wealth and their children will be of no use to them before Allah; they are the people of hell; they are to remain in it forever. 17 On the day that God will raise them together, they will swear before Him as they swear before you, and imagine they are on the right path. Is it not they who are liars? 18 Satan has got the better of them. and made them forget to remember God. Indeed they belong to Satan's faction. Will not Satan's faction perish? 19 Those who oppose Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad SAW), they will be among the lowest (most humiliated). 20 Allah has written: “Surely I will prevail; I and My Messengers.” Verily Allah is Most Strong, Most Mighty. 21 Thou wilt not find folk who believe in Allah and the Last Day loving those who oppose Allah and His messenger, even though they be their fathers or their sons or their brethren or their clan. As for such, He hath written faith upon their hearts and hath strengthened them with a Spirit from Him, and He will bring them into Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide. Allah is well pleased with them, and they are well pleased with Him. They are Allah's party. Lo! is it not Allah's party who are the successful? 22
