We have built the heaven with might, and We it is Who make the vast extent (thereof). 47 And the earth, We have made it a wide extent; how well have We then spread (it) out. 48 and We created pairs of all things so that you might reflect. 49 Flee, therefore, to Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him; 50 And do not ascribe divinity to aught side by side with God: verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him!" 51 Likewise, no Messenger came to those before them, but they said: "A sorcerer or a madman!" 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 So turn thou from them; thou wilt not be reproached. 54 And advise, for advice benefits the Muslims. 55 I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me. 56 I want no sustenance from them nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength. 58 And indeed for these unjust is also a turn of punishment, like that of their companions – so they must not ask Me to hasten. 59 Woe, then, betide those who disbelieved in that Day of theirs which they are being asked to hold in dread. 60
