The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By oath of the night when it covers 1 And by the day as it appears in brightness; 2 And by Him Who created male and female; 3 Verily, (the ends) ye strive for are diverse. 4 For him that gives and fears (Allah) 5 And affirms goodness, 6 We will indeed make smooth for him the path to Bliss. 7 But as for one who is miserly and unheeding, 8 And rejects the best, 9 We will facilitate for him the difficult end. 10 And what will his wealth avail him when he falls? 11 Indeed guiding is upon Us. 12 And to Us belong the End and the Beginning. 13 I have now warned you of a Blazing Fire, 14 where none shall burn except the most wicked, 15 Who denies and turns away. 16 He will be far away from the most pious. (The first Caliph S. Abu Bakr Siddiq) 17 Who giveth away his substance that he may be cleansed, 18 And none hath with him any favour for reward, 19 Other than seeking the glory of his Lord, most high, 20 and the reward (of their Lord) will certainly make them happy. 21
Almighty God's Truth.
