Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder, 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 when the seas are made to burst forth, 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 Each soul will know what it had sent ahead and what it had left behind. 5 O MAN! What is it that lures thee away from thy bountiful Sustainer, 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 In whatever form He willed has He assembled you. 8 Despite this, you deny the Day of Judgment, 9 Yet over you there are watchers, 10 The honourable recorders. 11 They know whatsoever ye do. 12 Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 And will not be removed from it. 16 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 17 Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
