Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ When the sky is cleft asunder; 1 And when the stars become dispersed, 2 And when the seas are made to flow forth, 3 when the graves are overturned, 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias; 7 and composed thee after what form He would? 8 No indeed; but you cry lies to the Doom; 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 noble recorders, 11 They know whatever you do. 12 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 13 and the evil-doers will be in hell 14 which they will enter on the Day of Judgment 15 and then shall never come out of it. 16 And what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 17 Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 [It will be] a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to another human being: for on that Day [it will become manifest that] all sovereignty is God's alone. 19
