Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 when the seas overflow; 3 And when the graves are ransacked, 4 A soul will know what it hath sent before (it) and what left behind. 5 O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous? 6 Who created thee, then moulded thee, then proportioned thee? 7 Shaping you into any form He pleased? 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 watching over you 11 who know what you do. 12 Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. 13 And verily the ungodly shall be in a Scorch. 14 They will enter it on the Day of Justice. 15 nor shall they ever be absent from it. 16 And what could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 17 How then can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 18 It will be a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to any other human being, God [alone] will hold command on that Day. 19
