And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
