The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By those (angels) that pluck out the soul from depths, 1 And who softly release the soul. (Of the believer) 2 by the swimmers (angels) swimming gently 3 and vie with the others (in carrying out their Lord's behests); 4 Then arrange to do (the Commands of their Lord), 5 The day the convulsive (first blast) shatters convulsively 6 followed by the succeeding, 7 hearts will throb on that Day 8 and their eyes shall be downcast with dread. 9 They say: “Shall we indeed be restored to life, 10 even after we are fragmented bones' 11 They say: that then shall be a losing return. 12 Indeed, it will be but one shout, 13 So they will immediately be in an open plain. 14 Has not there come to you the story of Musa? 15 When his Lord called him in the sacred valley of Tuwa, 16 "Go to the Pharaoh who has become refractory, 17 And say to him: "Would you purify yourself (from the sin of disbelief by becoming a believer)", 18 and that I should guide thee to thy Lord, then thou shalt fear?"' 19 So he showed him the great sign, 20 but he belied and disobeyed, 21 Then he turned back striving. 22 then, he gathered, proclaimed, 23 Yet to a rich man, 24 So Allah seized him with the punishment of the Everlasting Life, and of this world. 25 Surely in that is a lesson for him who fears! 26
