Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
