Man says: "What! When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive?" 66 Will the human not remember that We created him before when he was not a thing? 67 By your Lord, We shall gather them and the devils together, then bring them crawling on their knees around Hell. 68 Then We will surely extract from every sect those of them who were worst against the Most Merciful in insolence. 69 Again We do certainly know best those who deserve most to be burned therein. 70 And there is not one of you but shall come to it; this is an unavoidable decree of your Lord. 71 We shall then rescue the pious – and leave the unjust in it, fallen on their knees. 72 AS IT IS, whenever Our messages are conveyed to them in all their clarity, those who are bent on denying the truth are wont to say unto those who have attained to faith: "Which of the two kinds of man is in a stronger position and superior as a community?" 73 How many generations that had far more wealth and ostentation have We laid low before them! 74 Say: 'Whosoever is in error, let the All-merciful prolong his term for him! Till, when they see that they were threatened, whether the chastisement, or the Hour, then they shall surely know who is worse in place, and who is weaker in hosts.' 75 God gives greater guidance to those who are guided; and good deeds that endure are better with your Lord for reward, and better for consequence. 76 Have you seen him who rejected Our signs and said: "Surely I shall continue to be favoured with riches and children." 77 Has he looked to the unseen, or has he made a pledge to the Merciful One? 78 Nay, but We shall record that which he saith and prolong for him a span of torment. 79 and We shall inherit from him what he says, and he shall come to Us alone. 80 And they have taken gods, other than Allah, that they might be a power from them. 81 In fact, they can have no honor; their gods will renounce their worship of idols and will turn against them. 82
