Moses said: "Lord! Open my breast for me; 25 And ease for me my task 26 and my tongue fluent 27 “In order that they may understand my speech.” 28 And give me as assistant from my family 29 Harun, my brother. 30 “Back me up with him.” 31 "And let him share my task (of conveying Allah's Message and Prophethood), 32 So shall we glorify Thee, 33 And remember You much. 34 "For Thou art He that (ever) regardeth us." 35 Said He: "Thou art granted all that thou hast asked for, O Moses! 36 Already another time We favoured thee, 37 When We revealed to your mother what was revealed; 38 [Saying], 'Cast him into the chest and cast it into the river, and the river will throw it onto the bank; there will take him an enemy to Me and an enemy to him.' And I bestowed upon you love from Me that you would be brought up under My eye. 39 When your sister went and said: Shall I direct you to one who will take charge of him? So We brought you back to your mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve and you killed a man, then We delivered you from the grief, and We tried you with (a severe) trying. Then you stayed for years among the people of Madyan; then you came hither as ordained, O Musa. 40 "And I have prepared thee for Myself (for service)".. 41 Go, you and your brother with My signs, and do not be negligent of My Remembrance. 42 Then go to the Pharaoh as he has become exceedingly rebellious. 43 Then speak to him a gentle word haply he may mind or fear. 44 They said: "O our Lord, we are really frightened lest he behave insolently with us or become violent." 45 He said: "Fear not: for I am with you: I hear and see (everything). 46 So go you both to him and say: Surely we are two apostles of your Lord; therefore send the children of Israel with us and do not torment them! Indeed we have brought to you a communication from your Lord, and peace is on him who follows the guidance; 47 ‘It has indeed been revealed to us that the punishment is upon the one who denies and turns away.’” 48 He asked: "Who then is that Lord of yours, O Moses?" 49 Musa said: our Lord is He who vouchsafed unto everything its creation, then guided it. 50 (Pharaoh) said: "What then is the condition of previous generations?" 51 Moses replied, "The knowledge about it is with my Lord in the Book. My Lord is free from error and forgetfulness. 52 "He Who has, made for you the earth like a carpet spread out; has enabled you to go about therein by roads (and channels); and has sent down water from the sky." With it have We produced diverse pairs of plants each separate from the others. 53 so eat and graze your cattle. In this there are signs for men of understanding. 54
