So We saved the children of Israel from degrading suffering 30 From Firaun; he was indeed proud, among the transgressors. 31 And We certainly chose them by knowledge over [all] the worlds. 32 And We gave them portents wherein was a clear trial. 33 [Now,] behold, these [people] say indeed: 34 there is nothing beyond our first death; we shall not be raised again. 35 Bring then our fathers if ye say so. 36 Are they better or the people of Tubba and those before them? We destroyed them, for surely they were guilty. 37 And We did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them in sport. 38 We created them with definite purpose; but most of them do not understand. 39 Surely the Day of Decision shall be their appointed time, all together, 40 The Day when no relation will avail a relation at all, nor will they be helped - 41 except those to whom Allah shows mercy. He is the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate. 42
