Say: 'Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised, 93 do not, O my Sustainer, let me be one of those evildoing folk!" 94 Assuredly, We are able to show thee that We promise them. 95 Repel evil with the best deeds; We well know the matters that they fabricate. 96 And submit, “My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the instigation of the devils.” 97 I seek refuge with You, Lord, lest they should come near me." 98 (They shall persist in their deeds) until when death comes to anyone of them he will say: "My Lord, send me back to the world 99 That I may do some good I did not do (in the world)." Not so. These are only words he utters. Behind them lies the intervening barrier (stretching) to the day of their resurrection. 100 And then no sooner the Trumpet is blown than there will remain no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask one another. 101 Therefore the ones whose scales prove heavy – they are the successful. 102 And as for him whose good deeds are light, these are they who shall have lost their souls, abiding in hell 103 the Fire smiting their faces the while they glower there. 104 Have not My revelations been rehearsed unto you, and them ye have been belying? 105 They shall say, 'Our Lord, our adversity prevailed over us; we were an erring people. 106 Our Lord, remove us from it, and if we were to return [to evil], we would indeed be wrongdoers." 107 God will say, "Stay there and do not speak to Me. 108 "Behold, there were among My servants such as would pray, 'O our Sustainer! We have come to believe [in Thee]; forgive, then, our sins and bestow Thy mercy on us: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!' 109 But you took them for a laughing-stock, till they made you forget My remembrance, mocking at them. 110 "I have rewarded them this Day for their patience and constancy: they are indeed the ones that have achieved Bliss..." 111 He will say: how long tarried ye on the earth in number of year? 112 They will answer: "We have spent there a day, or part of a day; but ask those who [are able to] count [time]" 113 He will say: You did tarry but a little-- had you but known (it): 114 What, did you think that We created you only for sport, and that you would not be returned to Us?' 115 Exalted then be God, the King, the Real. There is no god but He, the Lord of the glorious throne. 116 And whoever invokes (or worships), besides Allah, any other ilah (god), of whom he has no proof, then his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely! Al-Kafirun (the disbelievers in Allah and in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, pagans, idolaters, etc.) will not be successful. 117 So say: "O my Lord! grant Thou forgiveness and mercy for Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!" 118
