It is He who made the earth tame for you - so walk among its slopes and eat of His provision - and to Him is the resurrection. 15 Do you feel secure that He who is in the heaven will not cause the earth to swallow you up while it shakes? 16 Do you feel secure that He who is in heaven will not loose against you a squall of pebbles, then you shall know how My warning is? 17 And indeed those before them belied (the Messengers of Allah), then how terrible was My denial (punishment)? 18 Do they not observe the birds above them, spreading their wings and folding them in? None can uphold them except (Allah) Most Gracious: Truly (Allah) Most Gracious: Truly it is He that watches over all things. 19 Who is he that can be an army unto you and succour you, beside the Compassionate! The infidels are but in delusion. 20 Or, who is it that shall provide for you if He withholds His provision? Yet they persist in arrogance and aversion. 21 What! is he who goes prone upon his face better guided or he who walks upright upon a straight path? 22 Say: "It is He Who has created you (and made you grow), and made for you the faculties of hearing, seeing, feeling and understanding: little thanks it is ye give. 23 Say: “Allah it is Who multiplied you in the earth and to Him you will be mustered.” 24 They say: "When will this promise (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) come to pass? if you are telling the truth." 25 Say: "God alone has knowledge. My duty is only to warn you clearly." 26 Then, when they see it drawing near, the faces of the unbelievers will be blackened, and it is said: 'This is what you were promised' 27 Say: 'What think you? If God destroys me and those with me, or has mercy on us, then who will protect the unbelievers from a painful chastisement?' 28 Say, "He is the Beneficent One in whom we have faith and trust. You will soon know who is in manifest error". 29 Say: 'What do you think. If your water should sink into the earth in the morning, who then would bring you running water' 30
