The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Clear Book. 2 Belike thou shalt kill thyself with grief because they become not believers. 3 If We will, We can send down on them a sign from the sky so that their leaders would remain bowed before it. 4 Never cometh there unto them a fresh reminder from the Beneficent One, but they turn away from it. 5 So they have surely belied; wherefore anon there shall come unto them the truth of that whereat they were wont to mock. 6 Did they not look at the earth - how much We have produced therein from every noble kind? 7 In this, behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 8 And verily, thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 9
