The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 who amasses wealth, counting it over, 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. 3 Never! He will certainly be thrown into the Crushing One. 4 And what will make you know what the crushing Fire is? 5 (It is) the kindled Fire of Allah, 6 Which leapeth up over the hearts (of men). 7 it closes in on them from every side 8 In pillars stretched forth. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
