We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 “Allah Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
