Al-Qamar 3 of 3
And assuredly unto the household of Fir'awn came the warning. 41 They denied Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with a seizure of one Exalted in Might and Perfect in Ability. 42 Are the unbelievers among you any better than they? Or is there immunity for you in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: We are a host allied together to help each other? 44 Soon shall the hosts be routed, and they shall turn (their) backs. 45 Nay, the Hour (of Judgment) is the time promised them (for their full recompense): And that Hour will be most grievous and most bitter. 46 Indeed the criminals are astray and insane. 47 On that Day they will be dragged into the fire faces foremost, (and told:) "Taste the feel of Hell." 48 We have created everything in due measure; 49 And Our commandment is but one (commandment), as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And verily We have destroyed your fellows; but is there any that remembereth? 51 All their deeds are recorded in the Scrolls; 52 everything large or small, is duly inscribed. 53 Indeed, the cautious shall live amid gardens and a river, 54 Seated in an assembly of the Truth, in the presence of Allah, the Omnipotent King. 55

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
