O YOU who have attained to faith! Seek aid in steadfast patience and prayer: for, behold, God is with those who are patient in adversity. 153 Do not say that those killed in the Way of Allah are dead, they are alive, although you are unaware. 154 And We will surely test you with some fear and hunger, and with paucity of wealth and lives and crops; and give glad tidings to those who patiently endure. – 155 Who, when there afflicteth them an affliction, say: verily we are Allah's, and verily unto Him we are returners. 156 On such men are the blessings of God and His mercy, for they are indeed on the right path. 157 ۞ Safa and Marwah are among the symbols set up by God; there is nothing wrong if anyone goes on a pilgrimage to the House, or performs a minor pilgrimage, in walking to and fro between them. Of anyone who does good of his own accord, God is appreciative, and aware. 158 Indeed Allah curses, and the cursers, too, curse those who conceal the clear teachings and guidance We have sent down, after We have made these plain in the Book for the guidance of all mankind. 159 But those who repent and reform and proclaim (the truth), are forgiven, for I am forgiving and merciful. 160 But those who deny, and die disbelieving, bear the condemnation of God and the angels and that of all men, 161 They will abide therein: Their penalty will not be lightened, nor will respite be their (lot). 162 And your Ilah (God) is One Ilah (God - Allah), La ilaha illa Huwa (there is none who has the right to be worshipped but He), the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. 163
