▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 Only they can reach it who are clean (of mind). 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it such a talk (this Quran) that you (disbelievers) deny? 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Wherefore then - when the soul cometh up to the wind-pipe 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,- 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right. 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 And a hurling into the blazing fire. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96
True are the words of God the Almighty.
