But nay! I swear by all that ye see 38 And that which you do not see. 39 That this is indeed the word of the noble Messenger, 40 It is not poet's speech - little is it that ye believe! 41 Nor is this the speech of a soothsayer. Little do you reflect! 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 Now if he [whom We have entrusted with it] had dared to attribute some [of his own] sayings unto Us, 44 We would certainly have seized him by the right hand, 45 And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart: 46 None of you would be able to prevent Us from doing this to him. 47 Surely it is a Good Counsel for the God-fearing. 48 We certainly know that some among you do deny it. 49 yet, behold, this [rejection] will indeed become a source of bitter regret for all who deny the truth [of God's revelation] 50 for, verily, it is truth absolute! 51 So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
